In sostanza
riuscire a farla bene richiede tempo, e pratica.
About real positivity
SAY YES!
Because yes
MEANS
SAYING NO
to your fears
Always positive
Anyone who knows me knows what I'm doing (or, at least, what my job!); who
reads this blog can certainly guessed it... I work in a Zara store!
I arrived in Vicenza's Zara store at the end of May 2011, for a series of fortuitous coincidences. Basically I
was there to do an internship of six months during which I could learn the
basics of Visual Merchandising, a discipline in which I specialized after university.
The stage was an end in itself, six months during which I finally could practice
(but that takes place in a Zara store by accident, it could easily be in
another reality, business or commercial) and "touch with hand" the
job that I decided to start at the end of my studies (series: let's say that
somehow I was given an answer to the question "what do I want to
be?") but, for a variety of vicissitudes of life, I thought I no longer
loved. Or rather, let's say that due to a series of rejections and deals gone
bad I had come to believe that maybe it was not definitely the way for me.
I began an internship with fear in my heart, for a variety of personal
reasons and less. THe fact is that I'm a terrible perfectionist, and every time
I get angry with myself if I can not do one thing well. Even if that thing is
difficult. Even if to do it well it takes time and practice.
Yes, I am impatient. But I'm even headstrong and rarely I leave
something in the middle. The effort I put into doing things surprised me more
than once in my life. Although going on might be hard.
The internship was a strange time, with bad and beautiful moments that
have occurred between May and November. In the end I got what I never expected:
a job. Needless to say, I was a "Zarina"* too!
Going forward a few months, in June, in a few weeks my life changed: a
job interview in the company, and a proposal. To become a Visual Merchandiser
of the women's department of the Zara store which will be opened in Bolzano** !
Imagine my joy! :)
Now... knowing me a little more, imagine my fear! :P
And now... imagine the scene: a couple of weeks ago I was at work, on
duty as "TRF Girl" (like to say, not in my usual department, but in
the place where the Zara Trafaluc collection is on sale) and what did I see? A
revelation! Printed on a TRF shirt!!!

It is nice to think that being afraid to face a great opportunity to be
normal.
It is even more beautiful think I caught that opportunity. I said
"YES". That in addition to mean that I agreed to go to work and live
in Bolzano ,
also means "saying 'NO' to my fears". :)
P.S. Do you feel positive? Find the philosophical maxi T-shirt TRF
